Holmes retired what was considered to be the best left jab in boxing history in 2002, with a record of 69 wins (44 by knockout) and 6 losses. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2008.

Larry Holmes honored with portrait at St. Luke’s Easton Campus

St. Luke’s University Health Network on Wednesday (2/27/25), held a dedication for a new portrait of Larry Holmes at the St. Luke’s Easton Campus.
Lehigh Valley-based artist Andrew Kish III, whose works are in galleries worldwide, created a watercolor portrait of Holmes with a fierce stare in a true boxer’s pose, gloved left hand slightly lowered.
Holmes, the Easton native considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, turned 75 last November. He was honored by St. Luke’s for his work highlighting the health network, including his work with sports performance and his treatment for diabetes.

A quintessential Pennsylvania soda company is launching a new flavor inspired by a boxing legend straight out of Easton.
And if that's not a one-two punch of PA power, A-Treat also will contribute some of the proceeds from sales to a charity.
A-Treat announced the premiere of Larry Holmes Cream Soda, with 20% of proceeds from sales going to Holmes’s charitable organization HeartOfALegend.org.
